Reference Collection (BibTeX)

I have made my reference collection publicly available: the literature from my research projects, merged into one deduplicated BibTeX file. Its main topics are public perceptions of artificial intelligence, big data, privacy, journalism, sports communication, and learning analytics.

The collection comes in two versions. The initial version (13,204 entries) consists of sources that I found without using AI as a research tool; only a very few of the more recently added references may have been suggested by AI. The revised version (13,192 entries) completes and corrects the metadata (DOIs, titles, journals) with registry data from Crossref and DataCite and is updated over time. Later additions to the collection may also draw on AI as a research aid.

Both files contain bibliographic metadata only, without abstracts, notes, keywords, or full texts. Citation keys combine the last name, the year, and the first word of the title (e.g., luenich2024fairness), and the files work with R Markdown/pandoc and LaTeX. Entries from older collections may be incomplete. The revised version has fewer entries because further duplicates were merged.

I merged and standardized the files with the help of Claude. Both files are released under CC0 1.0, so you can use, adapt, and share them without asking for permission.
